The NCLEX Review provided by Dr. Lily Lee is comprehensive, complete, and compliments my experience as an Army Medic.  The combination of military experience, challenging the NCLEX and passing the first time is a testament to her and her review course.   Her study guide was built for LVN, RN, Military Medical Staff and Healthcare professionals preparing for examination.    The study guide covered study tips and strategies, sample test questions, and steps to answer questions during the exam.  The Section on Nursing Process (APIE) was the most helpful because getting the question correct is not as important when you are studying as the process you used to get to the answer and understanding “why”.  This was the main strategy I used during my exam to help me pass on my first attempt.

I had 100 questions, mostly prioritizing, select all of the above, matching.  These questions were focused on psycho-social, psychology, and pharmacology.    The final comment is the fact you want to take your time, review each question before answering, and spend the most time on the first five questions.   This will help students set the tone, focus, and have the best chance to pass.   I took 30 minutes for the first 5 questions, 2 hours for 50 questions, and 3.5 hours for 100.  Good luck and Thank you Dr. Lily.

Dr. Lee,

Last year in October I took your IV therapy class and passed.  You told us that when we received our license to email you a copy of it so that you can send us our paper work and certificate. I have had my license since December and I have attached a copy of it to this email.  I hope to work or take another class with you soon. Your hypnosis sessions and tape really helped me relax and concentrate and I passed the board the first time with 85 questions just as you said would happen. Thank you for all your help, Edelyn C.

Greetings Ms. Lee,

I hope you get this e-mail. You are always very thoughtful. I remember how much you helped me during the tough times I went through; I prayed that there would be a way I can repay your kindness. I am working for Allied Professional Nursing in Upland CA in their Proceptorship program in Peds, and I am learning a lot about GTubes and Trachs…

It is wonderful what I am learning, I never learned in school.  How funny huh? can’t put my IV certification to use yet however I suppose that will come later. Thank you so much for all the help and encouragement you gave me; I must say that there were some days I wondered what was the purpose in going on, but thanks to your encouragement I’ m glad I did..You are a BEAUTIFUL PERSON!  I will always remember your kindness and the power it conveyed…

from one of your graduate Nurses, Leora L.

Dear Ms. Lee,

I want to thank you very much because your review class was the best thing for me. I had taken state boards twice before but did not pass.

After taking your course, reviewing the book andlistening to your tape I took the test fror the third time and passed with no problem nor difficulty. I want to encourage every nursing student to never give up and yes, take your course in preparation for the NCLEX examination.

I hope you put this letter up on your bulletin board next time you have a review class. P.S.: again you’re the best! E. Elzeandt, Bakersfield, CA
