Planning, Implementation & Evaluating Educational Programs

 

24- hour Continuing Education Course

This self-study program provides background and understanding for people who are interested in duties as a Director of Staff Development in a Skilled Nursing Facility or as an instructor in a precertification program for certified nursing assistants (CNAs). (Some states refer to the Director of Staff Development as a Staff Development Coordinator). It is an online course estimated to be completed in 24 hours.

Learners attending the DSD class will gain knowledge and skills in planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs. Learners will develop and maintain training records and draft course outlines and lesson plans with learning goals.

After successfully completing the assignments and evaluation, the learner will receive two recognitions:

  1. The learner will accumulate 24 continuing education hours from the State of California Registered Nursing Board CEP# 12050.

2.The learner would satisfy the DSD qualifications per CDPH guidelines in accordance with the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 5, Chapter 2.5, Section 71829

  1. You will receive course material via email after your payment is received.
  2. After completing the course, scan and email your completed course assignments and the course evaluation in its entirety to Shinymedical88@gmail.com.
  3. Your course completion certificate will be emailed to your email address on file within seven days of receiving the completed assignments.
